A Kickstarter for new horror novel, The Dark Beneath Us

As promised, I’m sharing more details about my forthcoming novel, The Dark Beneath Us. I’m doing something different this time, something new to me. I love a challenge and I love novelty, and Kickstarter has both of these in spades.

Yes, I’m launching The Dark Beneath Us on Kickstarter, and it will be exclusive to Kickstarter for the first few months.

You’ll be able to get it in hardback. It will be a thing of beauty. For anyone who truly loves books as objects in themselves, this is going to be such a treasure. The hardbacks will never be sold on the main retailers.

That’s not all.

The Dark Beneath Us is a prequel to Earthly Bodies (2021).

Let me tell you, this was as much of a shock to me as it might be to you. I never had any intention to write in series. I’m very much a Stand-Alone novel reader myself. And yet, when I read through the messy, first draft of what was to become The Dark Beneath Us, it was very clear to me that a character from Earthly Bodies had appeared, just under a different name.

This means Earthly Bodies is getting a new cover too! I’m so excited to share this with you.

And here’s the thing, either book stands alone as a single story. You don’t need to read one to understand the other.

But just like the mycelium network, it’s all connected.
