Use of Cookies– I don’t collect cookies here on this website. Some of the plugins I use do, namely for security, affiliate purchases (skimlinks) and analytics. If you want to send me a box of vegan choc chip cookies, please be my guest 😉

Skimlinks– Skimlinks will not knowingly collect or store any information which enables them to determine the actual identity of Users visiting a Skimlinks Enabled Site. This website contains some affiliate marketing links, which means I get paid commission on sales of those products or services I write about. This editorial content is not influenced by advertisers or affiliate partnerships. It’s purely another income stream for me. Disclosure– I always disclose if I’ve worked with a brand and if I’ve been paid to do so. I value my time and audience and am proud that brands want to work with me and pay me. You won’t find me hiding it, ever!

  • I am Susan Earlam and my website address is I am contactable by email at the envelope icon in the bar above.
  • I collect data in the form contact details for my mailing list and blog comments.
  • I have third party Plugins installed, that use cookies. These are, Wordfence for my website security and Google Analytics which tell me what posts and articles have been popular and also where my readers are coming from online. I also use Skimlinks affiliate network which uses cookies in case you purchase anything I’ve linked to on this site.
  • When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here . After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
  • If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
