A letter from the Editor

Hello readers! How are you?

Bit of an informational post this one; its with regret that from the end of May this corner of the internet will no longer exist in its current form.

In other words there will be no vintagemanchester.com and no more Best of Vintage Manchester awards.

I’ve pondered on this for a good length of time and it hasn’t been an easy decisions for me to make, but I have many reasons for doing this. Far too many to go into here, if you are curious feel free to take me out for tea and cake and we can have a natter about it…

My loose plan is to merge the content of this site into my other one susanearlam.com where I will still write about vintage and Manchester but from a more personal perspective, along with my other regular bits and bobs I have over there.

The Twitter account will stay open for the foreseeable future so you can always catch me on there for all your retweeting needs @vintageMCR or my personal one @oldfashionedsus

So this is not goodbye more of a see you soon. I have a few celebratory posts planned to keep you entertained until the end of May- so do stay tuned.

au revoir

    It’s a real shame,but understand why.
Susie you really brought the Manchester Vintage scene to life, introducing us to some really passionate vintage characters, fantastic events & local businesses – I know it certainly made a big impact on me! One of my proudest moments will always be winning an Award in 2012.
Thanks for all your hard work and good luck with all future ventures
