Easy Jumpsuit Style

Have you got a certain look or style that makes you feel great?

Or perhaps a certain colour that when you wear it, never fails to make you feel you could take on the world?

For me, apart from red lipstick to brighten up my days, I’m loving a good all in one, a jumpsuit or dungarees.

It’s been a bit of a slow burner for me, my affair with the jumpsuit. Partly due the fact I could never find one with the right proportions for my shape. But I’ve now got a small collection of all in one’s and I just love wearing them.

Today I’m sharing with you this jumpsuit and handbag combo from George at Asda who are currently running a campaign about taking compliments. I’m so impressed with the fact this jumpsuit fits me. I went for a size up to allow for my length and it seems to have worked. And I’ve actually had so many compliments about it 🙂

I’m wearing a vest underneath as the straps are a little thin and loose for my liking, and also because June has been a bit chilly at times!

Wearing a jumpsuit is a super easy way to get dressed. Minimum effort maximum effect, which for me is a no brainer. I’ve never been a massive fan of separates- too many complex outfit decisions. (Apart from jeans, obviously, which work with anything).

I find jumpsuits so practical, much more so than dresses. I can still crawl around on the floor with the kids, I feel ready for anything when wearing them, probably because I’m not thinking about my outfit.

Jumpsuits can be dressed up or down so easily. But the main selling point for me is fuss free outfits. I’ve enough things going on without having to worry if something is riding up or slipping down.

Have you jumped on the jumpsuit bandwagon? *groan*

I’d love to know if you are a lover of the all in one like me… There’s no going back now, I cant see myself getting bored of them!

  1. I love the pattern on that jumpsuit and it looks gorgeous on you! I’ve not jumped on the bandwagon, but your reasons for doing so are compelling … 😉

  2. Definitely-I’m the same in that it took me forever to find the right fit for me, but love wearing them now!

  3. You look lovely in that jumpsuit. I would never have the confidence to wear one at my age. I should imagine they are really comfy to wear though.

I haven’t yet. I’ve tried a few on but they don’t seem to suit me. The quest continues…..

  5. You look lovely in them. Jump suits really suit you. I can remember the red Blogtacular one you wore right? I tried on a really lovely Jumpsuit from a shop in King’s road 2 Summers ago. It was the only jumpsuit that suited me and didn’t make me look short. Oh how I wished I bought it then.
