As you may know if you follow over on Instagram, I recently went on a family holiday to one of our favorite UK destinations Whitby.
We’ve been to Whitby a few times now and each time stayed in different self catering accommodation. Our aim this time was to try and find somewhere that we’d like to go back to each time we come. Don’t get me wrong, the places we’ve stayed in previously were not terrible, just not quite right for us.
So as you’ve guessed by now I think I’ve found the place!
Whitby Pad Apartment in Caedmon’s Propespect on Chubb Hill Road, Whitby. The huge pluses for us staying as a family in Whitby, were things like underground on site parking, loads of toys and games for the girls to play with (we didn’t need to get ours unpacked) but also things like Ikea highchairs and a bed guard to stop littlest rolling out of the bed.
The apartment is right opposite one of our favourite spots in Whitby too; Pannett Park playground and Whitby Museum. This makes it really easy to find and sooo convenient too.
Whitby Pad Apartment also had the biggest and cosiest corner sofa ever!! We could all stretch out on it and relax, we now want a corner sofa more than ever.
It is a two bedroom apartment and the girls shared a room for the first time, which was pretty hilarious/annoying on the first night as smallest was so incredibly excited about sharing with her big sister, and wouldn’t go to sleep.
In our bedroom was a King sized bed that was really comfortable and there is also a roomy en-suite!
The place felt luxurious in a down to earth way. It had everything we needed and more. We will be back!
PS- I stupidly left taking photo’s until the place looked well used by us- so best to check the listing on AirBnB for more detailed images.
Find it on AirBnB here.
I would love your input
