Interior Blog Awards 2015 Results!

This past week has been a complete whirlwind.

With two visits to London in three days and the kids being off school, I’ve only had time to be on social channels rather than here on the blog.

So if you follow me anywhere over there you’ll know that on Wednesday night it was the Amara Interior Blog Awards…

I made it through {with your voting help} to the finalist stage, and I’m chuffed to tell you I got Highly Commended, as in second place, in the category of Best Fashion Inspired Blog! First place went to the brilliant Apartment Number 4.

To be honest I was rather shocked I’d got that far but obviously also super pleased!

The awards were held at the Ham Yard Hotel in the Piccadilly area in central London. The hotel was a great mix of glamorous and quirky and they looked after us SO well. Huge thanks to Amara for putting on the awards and host a great party too!

Did you notice my dress?? Well, its kind of hard not to right?

The dress is by a British company called Gatsby Lady and the generous ladies at Little Black Dress and Gatsby Lady sent it over for me to wear on the night! Its very 1920s inspired with sequins and fringing, I kept wanting to break out into the Charleston. • I wore my Hotter shoes that I’ve had for a while- these are incredibly comfortable for a non-heel wearer like me.
  • My Reiss coat which I’ve had for ages but I still adore.
  • A vintage sparkly handbag
  • A quilted black satin scarf from M&S which also had the fringing on.
  • A vintage crown brooch which is something I always wear with this coat as they go so well!

So again, big thanks to you, my supporters and readers. I’m incredibly grateful!
