Walking into Bethany’s vintage beauty parlour in Chorlton is like walking into a dream. Well it is a dream- one of Bethany’s, that she’s worked so hard to realise.
And what a dream it is. If any of you have visited Bethany before for vintage hair and beauty you’ll have been into that divine room in her house, perfect powder pink a recreation of a 50s salon. This new and improved vintage beauty parlour is on a much grander scale with glistening chandeliers, art deco wall lamps, gilt frames, six hollywood style pamper stations …. It was like walking into a powder room from the Golden Age of cinema.
Situated in the other side of Chorlton on Kingshill Road, Chorlton Green, Bethany and her team are offering a multitude of vintage beauty services. From Hen Parties, to Wedding day make overs, to burlesuqe classes to just a pampering session before a night out. If you want a little more va va voom- then this is the place to go.
There’s even a surprisingly large space downstairs, where Bethany has promised there will be pop up supper clubs and cinema nights, this space can also be hired out independently.
The opening event was a treat as we had the one and only Kiki De Ville seducing us with her (still) amazing voice and Lady Wildflower being putting the tease into strip tease with a Hollywood inspired burlesque act.

I’ve been badgering Bethany for a long time about opening a vintage beauty salon and I’m so pleased for her- I wish her every success in the future and I’ll always be cheering her on.
